Starving children around the world
Freedom rings only in hell
War races across the land
Bullets fly from passing cars
Motherless babies cry to be held
Fatherless children wonder what the heck
Faith is lost by those who pass
Godless souls roaming the land
Searching for the light that never comes
Death stalks the human race
Waiting patiently for its turn
Sky grows dark, gloomy nights
Sadness fills the soul tonight

Secrets
The tears of Envy
Roll down my face,
You've painted my heart green,
And it shows this whole place.
The tears of Hatred,
Fill my eyes,
And all this hatred,
Will bring to my lips lies.
The secrecy hides it
Like a big blanket,
But I fell it will soon fall,
And that feeling, I can't shake it.
My brain says yes,
My heart says no,
They always argue this way
When it's me you want to hold.
You're so oblivious
To what I hold inside.
For now I won't tell,
I'm used to having to hide.
I wish I were you,
For just one day,
But afterward,
My heart would slowly decay.
You want me to be close
I want you to be far,
You want me to come along,
But I'd rather watch from afar.
You want to take my pain away,
But I like the pain.
You don't want me to feel like that,
That there, Is a shame.
When will it end?
I don't know.
We're all mad
In this sad show.
It's time to leave,
I've done my part,
Tomorrow's a new day,
Tomorrow's a new start.

This feeling still stays,
I bet I could say "I hate you"

Dew-Drop Rainbows
Merrygolds and dew-drop rainbows
cover a picturesque puff-cloud sky
and as I walk
I feel a sprinkle of golden rain
that covers me like a Spring fragrence.
Lillies and bright Daffodils cry out
songs of pure joy through their colors
and I talk
about the weather to the yellow-tinged green grass
that tickles at my legs and arms.
Hollyhocks emit happiness and the
sun's rays are on my back warming me
and I stalk
the sun - smiling secretly
even on days when there's rain.
Roses and Crab Apple blossoms sing
out with colors so bright I'm
reminded of chalk
and happiness follows me where ever I go
and a yellow gold smile holds my face captive evermore.

Extra Ice Cream
yesterday was a really weird time
an ice-cream appeared under a dime
I ate it and all was well
or so I thought, till a new one fell
straight out of the blue spring sky
but I have no clue at all why
and where could it just land

When the wind blows
It makes the birds act funny
Their feathers blowin' in the wind
Moving up and down like bunnies.

We all run outside with our kites
With those pictures on them
They look like tiny flying knights.

As if they were insane!

Origami Lore
Origami is the best
It makes it fun to make a vest
It's amazing what I do
With a piece of paper or two
I really wish I knew
Why people use a cut or two
and then say it's ok
" 'cause everyone does it that way"
Cutting's against origami lore
So please don't do that any more
Using glue is fine
But cutting crossed the line
Origami's got lots of rules
Hands and paper are the only tools
So why do I fold cranes and stuff?
Because it's fun and that's enough!

Today I'm happy like never
Before I won S3&K
And though it took forever
I can play all zones with Tails HOORAY!!!
All levels save the Doomsday Zone
Are at my fingertips
And though I speak with a grumpy tone

I have done this once before
But that computer died
And until it boots once more
In darkness that win shall reside

And turn the music up to 10

A Child In Winter
Have you seen the stardust
That falls upon a winter’s night?
Have you seen the stardust
That scintillates glittering white?
It is said that it comes from clouds
But it must be from outer space
For it looks like the sparkling stars
That brighten heaven’s face.
The shivering stars are happy
And magic dust scatters away
It’s sprinkled throughout space
And some of it falls our way.
From the sky it drops
And dances all around
Then it’s called “snow”
When it touches the ground.
If you make a man
From the stuff called snow
Then clap the magic from your mittens
He’ll come to life you know.
It’s the stardust’s enchantment
That makes us laugh and play
And snowmen will live
If you really want it that way.

Losing Time
Darkness comes and goes and time holds no meaning.
Shadows are cast upon your face and are arranged
Beneath your kind eyes, across your exquisite chin
And in the corners of the room we lie in.
Shadows spread and silhouette;
They brighten and darken and blur all things irrelevant
And I am struck by the realization that
Days have somehow elapsed within a few brief moments
Spent here in your company.

Time stood still and flew by too quickly all the while.

Mirage
Startled in the darkness, she reaches out and cries
She touches her reflection, the mirror a surprise
Her wet eyes find her dry ones, and she gazes steadily
The face inside the mirror not what she thought it would be.
She found herself a stranger, this image unexpected
The strength she saw inside herself was hardly recollected
Especially by her, and especially in this moment
While her head hung low with cheeks still damp with the tears of her atonement.
But in that very instant she saw the reason for her power
A Goddess lived inside her, ready to rise up in that hour
Within herself she saw the need to release all of her fears
She glanced into the mirror and swiftly wiped away her tears
And from that very moment she knew that she only had to live
To do the best she knew she could and give all she could give.
And so she takes her first step and heads into the night
She's the only strength she'll ever need, she now makes her own light.

Thanksgiving
The colors changed.
Summer’s gone.
Fall’s the name,
And winter’s on its way.
The days have gone plain.
No more games, you see.
Snow’s a-fallin’.
Turkey’s a-fryin’.
Thanksgiving is what you smell.
Family’s gathering.
Now grandpa is prayin’.
Amen is said and everyone digs in.
Food is good, like always, you see.
For my family has good cooks!
When we finish stuffing our faces,
With sports on the “telly,”
Some fall asleep as others play games.
Maybe even make snowmen in Grandma’s front yard.
Family, friends, and good times
Must wait for another time.
We all go home stuffed and happy with glee.
Not even a month’s wait and Christmas will be here,
Another wonderful holiday to praise God and his son.
